Summary
A woman's skirt made from black silk satin. The skirt, which has no surface decoration, is gathered onto a black wool waistband, with a concealed pocket on the right-hand-side. It is fully lined in brown glazed cotton and fastens centre front with two hooks and eyes on the waistband, intact. A small handwritten label attached to the inner waistband reads, "McDonald-Tyler", the donor.
