Summary
A woman's waistcoat made from yellow wool with an overlay check in pink, turquoise and white. The double-breasted waistcoat has 8 mother-of-pearl buttons for fastening centre front, with a cream silk satin back and fully lined in blue and black striped cream silk taffeta. There are six boning strips across the bodice front for shaping and an additional 5 hook and eye internal fastenings sewn into the lining.
