Summary
A woman's wedding veil and headdress, "Dutch" style, made from silk net and cream and silver thread lace stitched to a shaped wire frame. The full-length veil is simply decorated with a single line of cream silk thread chain stitch around the outer edge. The headdress has been created by stitching cream and silver thread lace to a three-pointed triangular shaped wire frame, which projects from a central wire circlet. The edges of the triangle have been decorated with a line of small pearls and proper left and right hand side there is further decoration of orange blossom made from wax and reinforced paper leaves.
