Summary
A woman's wedding dress, part of an ensemble, made from cream silk satin. The sleeveless dress has a high round neckline which is trimmed with swansdown, with a plain bodice and a dropped waist which is decorated with a panel of pearl beading. The shoulders have an integral cape made from gold and cream rayon lace, which extends to just below the dropped waist and with a scalloped hem. The dress also has an integral train, attached from the shoulders, made from cream silk satin with a swansdown hem and an underside made from gold-coloured gauze. There are two loops on the hem edges to allow the train to be lifted and the gold gauze to be visible. The dress is unlined and has no fastenings. To go with wedding shoes, 602844.1 & .2.
