Summary
A woman's shawl made from cream cashmere, cream silk thread and red ink. The shawl is decorated with a deep red printed design in a mixed Greek key and floral pattern, enhanced with cream silk satin stitch embroidery. It has been designed to be folded on the diagonal, to create two up-facing layers of embroidery simultaneously. It also has a short integral cashmere fringe.
