Summary
A woman's bodice, part of a presentation ensemble, made from dark red silk velvet. The bodice, which is missing its original sleeves, has a large bow on each shoulder made from deep red silk velvet and silk satin, with a matching bow on the bodice base centre back and a pleated trim of cream silk chiffon which runs from the neckline to waist. The bodice laces centre front with a deep red silk ribbon, intact, has fifteen boning strips and is fully lined in white glazed cotton.
