Summary
A woman's skirt, part of a presentation ensemble, made from deep red silk satin. The skirt has two pleated panels on the left and right hand sides from waist to hem, with the hem trimmed with a line of matching deep red silk satin bows, otherwise undecorated. It is fully lined in a combination of deep red silk taffeta, deep red cotton and black scrim, with an internal tie for adjustment of the skirt shape at the rear around the bustle. It fastens centre back with a single hook and eye, intact, and has a slim black silk braid waistband.
