Summary
A girl's coat, part of an ensemble, made from white cotton pique. The long-sleeved, collarless coat is decorated on the cuffs with a band of broderie anglaise, with matching broderie anglaise trim and feather stitch embroidery on the front facings and lower skirt hem, and box pleating on the skirt back. It is unlined and fastens centre front with eleven carved mother-of-pearl buttons, intact.
