Summary
A woman's chemisette made from white cotton organdie. The chemisette has a half-boned and half-fluted collar and is simply decorated with lines of faggotting stitch around the collar and front facings. Internally, the chemisette is unlined, and fastens with seven mother-of-pearl buttons and three hook and eye fastenings centre front, intact. A laundry mark embroidered on the inner front facing reads, "3431".
