Summary
A woman's apron for a maid, made from white cotton lawn. The apron is decorated in the centre of the bib and on the lower hem with an insertion of drawn thread work on a single layer of cotton lawn in a mixed diamond/triangle motif and is otherwise undecorated. There are two waist ties for fastening and no neck ties as the bib was originally pinned to the bodice.
