Brand new and unworn, the cap is decorated with a border of broderie anglaise embroidery, with further whitework embroidery on the cap centre front in a floral pattern. There is ribbon insertion along the bottom edge of the cap, with the black cotton velvet ribbon (intact) used for both decoration and fastening.
