Summary
A woman's stocking from a pair of stockings, made from tan-coloured machine-knitted cotton lisle. The new, unworn stocking has a merchant's label attached to the inner face of the stocking cuff which reads, "9". 1/x. K/P". A further manufacturer's stamp on the outer stocking sole reads, "Made by Celfeet". Handwritten on the inner face of the stocking cuff in black ink the name "Brett", the donor.
