Summary
A woman's stocking from a pair of stockings, made from beige machine-knitted rayon lisle and decorated with an ankle clock in a floral motif. A manufacturing stamp on the outer face of the cuff reads, "Smyth's. Real Balbriggan", along with a trademark symbol. Also handstitched in red thread to the upper cuff, outer face, the word "Balbriggan". Handwritten onto the inner face of the upper cuff in black ink, "Brett", the donor.
