Summary
A woman's stocking from a pair of stockings, made from beige machine-knitted cotton lisle. The new and unworn stocking has a manufacturer's paper label attached to the outer face of the stocking cuff which reads, "Morley's "Verona". Fully fashioned. Extra fine gauge lisle. Best Suede finish. Made in England. I&R Morley LTD", along with their trademark. A further manufacturer's stamp on the stocking sole reads, "Best Suede Finish, I & R Morley Ltd. Trademark. Made in England. Handwritten on the inner face of the stocking cuff the name "Brett", the donor.
