Summary
A woman's jacket, part of an ensemble, made from beige shantung silk. The long-sleeved, collarless jacket is decorated on the neckline, front facings, cuffs and dagged lower hem with brown and cream cotton thread embroidery in a floral motif, with additional dark brown piping on the neckline. It is unlined, with three moulded buttons (possibly casein) centre front and two hooks & eyes for fastening, intact.
