Summary
A woman's sash belt, part of an ensemble, made from beige shantung silk. The belt is decorated with brown and cream cotton thread embroidery in a floral motif on the large bow centre back and the sash ends, with dark brown decorative looped cording around the outer edges. The waistband is lined in cream silk and the belt fastens with two hooks & eyes centre front, intact. Handwritten on the inner waistband in blue ink, "Lenox-Conyngham", the donor.
