Summary
A woman's bodice, part of an ensemble, made from beige shantung silk. The long-sleeved, collarless bodice is decorated on the yoke, sleeve-heads, cuffs and neckline with brown silk piping and brown and cream embroidery in a floral pattern. It is fully lined in white glazed cotton, with four boning strips, six moulded buttons centre front (possibly casein) and two hooks and eyes, intact.
