Summary
A woman's skirt, part of a day dress, made from blue and white silk brocade. The brocade is woven in a mixed vertical stripe and floral motif, with pocket slit openings on the left and right seams and a small hidden pocket just left of centre front. The skirt is gathered onto a cotton tape waistband, with a 3" deep padded hem which is faced with a beige wool braid trim. The skirt is fully lined in beige cotton twill and has no surviving fastenings.
