Summary
A woman's skirt, part of a suit, made from black moire silk. The skirt is trimmed with side panels in midnight blue silk velvet, with four rows of looped black cotton Russian-style braid and a black silk satin ruffle on the skirt hem, otherwise undecorated. Internally the skirt is fully lined in black scrim and fastens with two hooks & eyes on the waistband centre back, intact. Handwritten on the inner waistband of the skirt the marking, "Lenox-Conyngham", the donor. To go with 602588, matching jacket.
