Summary
A woman's skirt, part of a dress, made from black silk satin. Black silk satin skirt trimmed with six flounces around hem and appliqué embroidery. Lined with black silk taffeta with internal taffeta flounce at hem. Hem is edged with black velvet ribbon. CB opening that fastens with metal press-studs carried on cotton twill tape. Two metal hooks and eyes at waist; waist is bound with cotton twill tape. Evidence of skirt having been altered at waist. At top of back opening is one oversized metal eye – to attach to jacket.
