Summary
A boy's sailor suit cap, part of a set, made from dark navy wool. The hat has a plain crown and brim, with a beige leather brim lining. The crown is lined in hessian which is covered with quilted red silk and dark red cotton twill. A maker's stamp on the inner silk lining reads, "By Appointment to Her Majesty Queen Mary. Rowe. Gosport, England".
