Summary
A woman's petticoat made from white cotton. The floor-length petticoat has a deep flounce from knee to hem which is decorated with bands of pintucking and broderie anglaise and is otherwise undecorated. Internatlly, the petticoat is unlined and fastens with both a cotton tape gathering string and three fabric covered cellulose buttons centre back, intact. Handwritten inside the waistband is "Marr" in `blue ink. Also attached to the inner waistband a manufacturers label, which reads "Robinson & Cleaver Ltd. Makers. Belfast & London".
