Summary
A baby's christening cape made from cream silk crepe. The cape is constructed with a deep collar, over-cape and under-cape, with the collar edged with Irish cream crochet lace in a stylised floral motif. The remainder of the cape is untrimmed, lined with cream cotton, with three carved mother-of-pearl buttons centre front for fastening, one missing and two silk ties on the neck, one missing.
