A woman's dress made from cream moire silk. The dress, which has full-length sleeves, is decorated with a self-coloured pattern in a flower and trellis motif and is trimmed around the neckline and shoulder with embroidered silk net decorated with a floral pattern and with an embroidered scalloped edge. The sleeve heads are trimmed with two bands of silk satin, now cream-coloured but originally pale pink. Both the cuff and lower hem of the dress are further decorated with cream silk ribbon in horizontal bands. The dress is unlined, and fastens with a cream silk ribbon tie and a hook and eye fastening centre back, intact.
