Summary
An oak shelf, English, circa 1957-1964, the rectangular top supported on two triangle brackets. Affixed to the wall at the base of the staircase. Thought to have been constructed by Mr. David MacDonald, who resided at Red House between 1957 and 1964.
Provenance
The National Trust purchased Red House in 2003 to ensure its permanent preservation. The shelf was acquired with the house as part of this purchase.
