Summary
Matching braid - worn and dirty in part. Taken from curtains matching the valances. Fringe of cotton on the curtains was removed and used on present curtains in Princess Victoria's Room. 1930 inventory p.22 '2 pairs of Jaspe silk curtains, lined, trimmed metal braid and cut fringe, 2 valances...'
