Summary
Small-sword, with scabbard (M/61b). Blade triangular in section, lower blade plain steel, top nine inches of blade deep blue with gilt reserves decorated with engraved detail. Elaborate hilt of pierced steel set with marcasite. Scabbard of black leather, metal top mount (inscribed 'Thos. Gray Sackville St') with ring and marcasite button. Sword and scabbard within sword case of black leather lined with chamois leather. This sword is en suite with Sir Edward Green's Court Dress (THY/T/37 Box 1)
