A mahogany 'ladderback' open armchair, English, mid 19th century. 18th century style, with four pierced rungs, drop in seat and raised on square section legs with pierced corner brackets or spandrels, tied by stretchers. Part of a set of ladderback chairs to include (NT 592917).
