Summary
One of two glazed relief plaques with sculptures of the Virgin and Child, of the type associated with the Italian Renaissance Della Robbia family. The Plaque has Virgin and Child in white with coloured border of leaves, fruit and flowers. Tin-glazed earthenware, possibly Cantagalli, Italy, late 19th century. The Della Robbia family worked in Florence in the 15th century producing architectural plaques in this style.
