Summary
Marble wall fountain comprising of neoclassical marble pilasters and pediment and rectangular trough with a cast lead lion's head spout for greenhouse humidity inscribed 'When wearied and over-wrought by study or affairs of business repair to these haunts and refresh your mind by a stroll..' The idea taken by GOT from the Tomb of the Freedmen of Pompey. The verses are on the Pincian Hill,towards the Piazza del Popolo and the translation, such as it is, by GOT.
