Summary
Print, The Angel Gabriel and the Virgin Annunciate after Hans Memling (Seligenstadt 1430/40 – Bruges 1494). The Arundel print is in two panels. (?) Forms one of the outer panels of the altarpiece of the Passion Triptych painted on behalf of Heinrich Greverade or his brother Adolph (or both) for the chapel in Lubeck Cathedral. The original was completed in 1491.
