Summary
Print, The Crucifixion after Hans Memling (Seligenstadt 1430/40 – Bruges 1494). A print showing the crucifixion with Christ at the centre and the two other crosses in the background. Several figures including Mary can be seen in the foreground. An Arundel Print. The central panel of the altarpiece of the Passion Triptych painted on behalf of Heinrich Greverade or his brother Adolph (or both) for the chapel in Lubeck Cathedral. The original was completed in 1491.
