Head and shoulders portrait of a woman, turned slightly to the right, gazing to the right, wearing a black lace dress with gardenia and double pearl necklace. Grey eyes, brown hair, pink complexion. Blue-grey background with foliage design. Signed and dated C.J.Turrell, 1881.
