A black sealed box with glass front containing an unidentified stuffed white bird which has a yellow patch on the top of its head ,perching on a branch.

Given with the property to The National Trust in 1941 by Sir Charles Philips Trevelyan, 3rd Bt. [1870 - 1958].
Marks and inscriptions
Front of glass , bottom left corner.: A small round green sticker has the number 19 wrote in white ink. Back board: A gold paper label that has been printed on reads - B. Corbett ??? in Turnbury, Toys & Tunbridge Ware, Preserver of birds,??? Quadrupppedes,to imitate life, No 2 John Streets ,Oxford Street ,N.B all birds of curiosities bought or sold or exchanged. Back board: A white rectangular label with 960 handwritten in blue ink.
