Summary
A stuffed specimen of the Little Grebe in a stained and varnished wooden display case with imitation gilt decoration. The case has sloping sides and top and has an oval case-makers label glued to the back of the case of Columbus Coulson, Pilgrim Street, Newcastle.

Given with the property to The National Trust in 1941 by Sir Charles Philips Trevelyan, 3rd Bt. [1870 - 1958].
