Summary
A rosewood console table, English, circa 1830. The rectangular grey veined marble top above a plain frieze and on square tapering legs terminating in brass lion's paw feet.
Provenance
On loan from Simon Francis Raymond Pettit and then purchased by the National Trust in 1985.
Marks and inscriptions
Back stretcher: 3 paper labels, one an old newspaper article (illegible), one smaller with the word 'to...' in red, and the smallest is a plain white label. All have been ripped.
