Summary
A figured mahogany break-front library bookcase, English, circa 1820 -1830. The upper section with moulded cornice and enclosed by four doors with brass lattice-work grilles, each flanked by moulded outer uprights headed with floral rosettes, the lower section with four frieze drawers above a pair of doors, the panels with foliate and scrolling re-entrant corners and an outer crossbanded border, flanked by grille doors, on plinth, with ivorine plaques T, U, V and W, the locks stamped GR PATENT.
