Summary
A large white-painted breakfront display cabinet, built on site, circa 1883. Enclosed by eight pairs of glazed doors, with carved friezes and plinth of foliate, bead and dot, egg and dart and gadrooned detail, almost identical to the cabinet in the Entrance Hall (NT 582631).
Provenance
Made for Sir Walter Trevelyan in around 1883 to house some of the ceramics collection, using panelling and carvings found in the house.
