Summary
Ceramic, Parian ware, Self Portrait with the 'Goddess of Hope' (after Bertel Thorvaldsen) by Minton. Full-length figure of a man, his left arm resting on the head of a girl also wearing Grecian robes. The man is the sculpture, Thorvaldsen, and the chisel which is held in his right hand is missing. Minton white parian ware. Impressed 'Enerati' mark.
