Summary
Gents long sleeved coat with turned down collar and cuffs. Heavy repp silk, alternating fine horizontal stripes of aubergine and white for body and sleeves. At back a centre vent and 2 sets of pleats. Cream twill silk lining on front and back skirts. Centre back and sleeve lining is linen. Collar and cuffs are cream silk with lime green silk/metallic thread/like green silk stripe. False pockets. Metal ribbon trim, 2 bands on the collar and cuffs. Single band along front edges, pocket flaps, vents and pleat flaps. 10 large hand-made buttons with metallic thred embroidery on front and at top and bottom of pleat flaps. No buttomholes.
