Summary

Building; Panthen. Circular interior with 7 arched recesses, and one recessed entrance door - covered by a coffered dome with centre oculus. The building is of Tisbury sandstone, Chilmark and Portland with red Devonian flagstones inside. Designed by Henry Flitcroft, although the building work was by Privet, which began in 1753 and was completed the following year.
