Summary

Bow saw - A wooden frame consisting of two curved pieces joined via two further curved pieces arranged in a cross, one passing through the other. A toothed saw blade is inserted between the frame supports and fixed in place with metal pegs. The frame is kept in tension via an adjustable metal strap at the opposite end.

Purchased as part of Geler Jones Collection in 1994.
