Summary
Devon potato chopper - Rectangular shaped blade with a raised arc situated at the tip end, this presumably was intended for a hand applying pressure whilst cutting. The handle (tang) is formed out of the same material as the blade and graduates to a point at the end of the handle. The cutter is fgitted with a wooden handle held in place by a metal collar to the front. The handle is secured onto the tang by bending the tip of the handle (tang) over to impede movement. Similar item features in the Finch Bros. tool catalogue, item no. 5.
