Summary

Butter churn - A coopered container that is wider at the base than the top with 4 iron bands around the circumference. A lid has two wooden handles and a hole in the middle. A wooden pole has a wooden disc on the bottom and the lid of the churn fits over this pole.

Purchased as part of Geler Jones Collection in 1994.
