Summary

Hay lifter - Two curved bars (one at either end) form two teeth. Each is connected to an arm which meets and pivots at a central point. This pivot has an assembly of pulley wheels attached. A coiled spring is attached to each bar.

Purchased as part of Geler Jones Collection in 1994.
