Summary
Beech tatting bobbin for lace. Tapering turned profile with grooves and collars. Four pewter bands at end, top with narrower section below thistle finial. With 7 glass beads - 1 blue hexagonal, 1 black cylindrical, 2 clear squares (1 with impressed surface), 2 rose squares with impressed surfaces, 1 circular clear blue with red and white streaks. Handwritten label, inscribed: 'Lace bobbin 59p D'.

An item from the Pamela Ward Collection, left to the National Trust in the will of Miss Ward in 1994.
