Beech tatting bobbin for lace. Tapering turned profile with collar at end, narrower section below discoid end. With 7 glass beads - 2 black hexagonal, 2 opaque white circular, 2 black discoid, 1 large clear amber circular. Handwritten label, inscribed: 'Lace bobbin coarse 2/6'.

An item from the Pamela Ward Collection, left to the National Trust in the will of Miss Ward in 1994.
