Summary
Print, engraving, Rinaldo and Armida from Jerusalem Delivered by Torquato Tasso (after Angelica Kauffman RA) by Francesco Bartolozzi (Florence 1727 – Lisbon 1815). A male figure wearing some pieces of armour. With scantily clad female figure standing next to him and carrying garland of flowers. In an oval gilt moulded frame, with beading around inner edge and scrolled fluting on outer edge. Incorrect hand written label on reverse reading 'Andromachi and Ascanius after KAUFFMAN by F Bartolozzi printed in colours'. Inscribed - 45 (label on back)
