Britannia metal tapered cylindrical pepper pot. Screw-in lid with star shaped perforations. 'James Dixon and Sons Sheffield' impressed on base. Handwritten label, inscribed 'Shefield [sic] pepper J. D and Sons from 1806 made Britannia metal 35/-'.
