Summary
Rectangular burr yew two division tea caddy with canted corners. Top of lid inlaid with whelk on green background, all of sycamore. Similar inlay at front of base, but in satinwood. Vertical harewood and satinwood stripes on front corners. Rounded top stripes at base of corners. Two division interior with burr yew lids and ivory mushroom handles. Diamond shaped ivory inlay escutcheon at front of base.
Provenance
An item from the Pamela Ward Collection, left to the National Trust in Miss Ward's will in 1994.
